Mark making and Tonal Drawing

Today we were given a number of sheets that helped us practice and expanded our knowledge on mark making and tonal drawing in preparation for the realistic portrait for this we used pencil, however, I decided to experiment with pen as well this was a lot diferent to drawing with pencil as the marks were perminent therefore the end peice was more messy and expressive. Adding tone gave the 2 dimentanal drawing a 3 dimental look. I found this task enjoyable as it expanded my repertoire on mark making and tonal knowledge.
