Facial Proportions

After preparing for this task by using the mark making and tonal sheet, we then went on to create a pencil drawn portrait, however, I decided to experiment with pen. Before we began on our portrait we had a practice run where we used guidelines to determine the eyes, mouth and nose. We then went on to look further into creating a realistic nose. I found that the exercise gave us a useful insight on how to structure the face. Afterwords i decided to photocopy my finished piece and then add colour.

Here I photocopied my original final portrait and then added coloure giving the drawing
